Computer Based Learning Workshop at UNSOED

From the GDLN workshop, I directly went to UNSOED for Computer Based Learning Workshop at Agriculture Faculty. They invited me as a resource person for one day. The session is about how to present Blog for academic things including learning process and how to make blog as a place for lectures to marketing their self. In this workshop also the lectures shown how to make an ideal presentation especially to be present in front of the class. In advance they will learn how to integrate the Google docs in their blogs and so they can also represent their materials and doing some of collecting data for research by using their own blog integrate with the Google docs.

Most of participants which came from the agriculture faculty quite new with blog. Even blog is not the new things for several people since its show as one of the generation of Web 2.0 but they were quite enjoy following the session, even sometimes there are some problem just because of the setting of each laptop they used were different. To explore more the blog will be need the time and so i just come up with the basic feature that they can use in learning process. At the end of the session i share with them how to create a good presentation using power point and add a tools for make it more intereactive with some of simulation as well as flash inside. In addition, we are using a free tools provide by Ispring. It's really a nice tools but sometimes couldn't work if the office application was not installed well.

However I am quite happy can share something with them and wish what I presented can make their life more colorful with the new knowledge in how to bring the blog to their daily activities in teaching as well as they use it for their personal diary. Bravo Lectures Go Blog...
